Y. Aram Apanian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Aram Apanian, completed his Eagle Scout Project at his alma mater, Chamlian Armenian School, with the help of his fellow Aris. He constructed an interactive learning space for the kindergarten classes in the form of a Lego Wall.
K. Ellin Manoukian's Eagle Scout Service Project
K. Ellin's Eagle Project reorganized the Crescenta Valley High School Instrumental Music Department storage shed. She also created a new system of documentation for the shed's content in order to assist future music students in locating the items they need quickly and efficiently.

Y. Dvin Dergevorkian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Dvin built a playground bridge for Tufenkian Preschool. Playground equipment is usually funded by the school, but Y. Dvin decided to build and donate a new bridge to the preschool in order to save them the cost of purchasing it during financially challenging times. The preschool students have a brand new, handmade, great quality playground equipment they can play and enjoy!

Y. Shant Armenian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Shant designed and assembled multipurpose seating and play platforms in order to create a more fluid classroom environment for the students of Tufenkian Preschool.
Y. Greg Simitian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Greg completed his Eagle Scout project at Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School! The purpose of his project was the beautification of the school’s playground and to increase the amount of plant life that surround the students in their day-to-day environment. He created hanging planters in order to ensure that these succulents last for generations to come!
Y. Shaunt Movsessian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Shaunt completed his Eagle Scout Project at Tufenkian Preschool where scouts spent their Saturday assisting Y. Shaunt in assembling light tables. Light tables use translucent table tops that contain a light source within, similar to a drafting table, but for preschoolers. They can be used to enhance literacy, problem-solving skills in math, and writing skills, in fun and interactive ways.
K. Talin Dergevorkian's Eagle Scout Service Project
K. Talin created a STEAM board and a painting wall for a transitional kindergarten classroom at Chamlian Armenian School. The board was divided into five sections, with each one being based off of a term in the acronym. The interactive portions of the board were designed to improve motor skills and the project itself helped to teach the students about an important acronym that forms the foundation of many areas of education and careers.
Y. Alex Soukasians' Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Alex completed his Eagle Scout Project at his former elementary school, Glenoaks Elementary where he painted the backboards and rims for three separate basketball courts. His aim was to help give a new look to the playground and encourage physical activity for the students. He also bought new nets for each rim and added a design to every backboard which enhanced the look compared to the dark prior colors.
Y. Narek Abedian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Narek visited his old elementary school, Thomas Jefferson, for his project. He beautified the garden where the 5th graders plant their annual vegetables. The garden was rejuvenated in order to create a safe and efficient learning environment for the 5th graders to learn and develop. He also added landscape fabric to prevent further weed growth in the garden in order to ensure the longevity of his project’s impact.
Y. Mher Bezik's Eagle Scout Service Project
Mher revitalized the walkways of his former preschool, by painting the concrete floors to give a fresh new look to Wonder Years preschool, he was able to greatly help the beneficiary, preschool students, and the school as a whole. The aim of his project was to breathe life back into the preschool, creating a more comforting and appealing environment to the play area.
Y. Nareg Simitian's Eagle Scout Service Project
Y. Nareg completed his Eagle Scout Project at Chamlian Armenian School’s newly created preschool where he assisted in beautifying two of the outdoor preschool classrooms by coloring the previously dull, and gray space into a colorful space where preschoolers could learn and have fun in a colorful and interactive environment.
K. Maral Alexanians' Eagle Scout Service Project
K. Maral created a sensory board to be placed at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School for children with developmental disabilities. She designed and built a board to encourage children to engage in sensory exploration and improve their motor skills through items and games such as buttons, texture patterns, tic tac toe, and other activities.
K. Isabella Petrossian's Eagle Scout Service Project
K.Isabella beautified John Marshall Elementary, as well as encouraged reading among its student through her project “Let’s Grow Together.” She designed kid-friendly planters with water wise plants and built a library trade bin in a social area, to build conversation about reading and gardening amongst students.
K. Arpi Sarian's Eagle Scout Service Project
K. Arpi created a YouTube channel for elementary-age kids that centered around nutrition. There were six videos that were made and uploaded to the channel, which discussed the food groups, exercise, jobs in nutrition, and junk food. The channel was used by elementary school teachers at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School to teach their students about keeping themselves healthy.
K. Sofie Corbett's Eagle Scout Service Project
K. Sofie’s Eagle Scout project involved making an online database of lyrics to Homenetmen/Ararat scouting songs in English, Armenian, and “Armenglish” (phonetic transcription of Armenian with English orthography). She enlisted the help of several other scouts to assist with the transcription and translation of the songs. The purpose of the project was to preserve the vibrant history of Homenetmen scouting through music and create a resource for new generations of scouts to learn these songs along with their cultural significance.
