NASSM is actively involved in supporting and assisting professionals working in the fields of sport, leisure and recreation. The purpose of the North American Society for Sport Management is to promote, stimulate, and encourage study, research, scholarly writing, and professional development in the area of sport management - both theoretical and applied aspects.

College Sports Communicators (CSC) is dedicated to supporting and advancing professionals working in strategic communications, creative, digital media, and storytelling within intercollegiate athletics. The purpose of CSC is to provide professional development, resources, advocacy, and networking opportunities while promoting excellence and innovation across the college sports communications industry.
Founded in 1957, CSC is a national association representing more than 4,700 members across the United States and Canada. Formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the organization adopted its current name in 2022 to better reflect the evolving roles and responsibilities of professionals within college athletics communications.
The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) is dedicated to supporting and advancing professionals working in collegiate athletics administration. The purpose of NACDA is to provide educational opportunities, professional development, networking, and resources that promote excellence and leadership within the field of athletics administration.
Founded in 1965, NACDA is the largest association of collegiate athletics administrators, representing more than 22,000 individuals and 2,200 institutions across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Members include athletics directors, conference commissioners, associate and assistant athletics directors, and other professionals involved in the administration and management of collegiate athletics. Through programs, events, awards, and leadership initiatives, NACDA continues to support the growth and development of athletics administrators while shaping the future of intercollegiate athletics.
Launched in 2013, Game Changers examines the multiple ways in which women intersect with sports. Speakers have ranged from PepsiCo Chairman & CEO Indra Nooyi, who focused on women ascending the ranks in sports and corporate America, to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who shared his views on the state of women’s sports, to Ogilvy & Mather Chairman Emeritus, Shelly Lazarus, who discussed her rise to the top of the male-dominated advertising industry. Other key topic areas include leadership in the workplace, mentoring and the business case for DEI. The program also provides ample opportunities for networking and a high-energy awards ceremony for the year’s Game Changers honorees.
Beyond the Field: College Athletics in the Time of COVID-19. This panel discussion with Dr. Victoria Jackson, Dr. Derek Silva, Dr. Derrick White, and college athlete Nyah Willis sheds light on the student-athlete experience, the financial impact of collegiate fall sports pushed to spring, racial implications and biases, and coaching approaches to player development.
