APS Online is no longer enrolling new students due to reaching capacity. We are exploring options for families looking for an online option for their child and will post new information by mid October.

This website contains information about the APS Online program offered through Edmentum's EdOptions Academy. The site also contains information for families of students who are enrolled in the APS Online program.

What does APS Online look like for my child?

Elementary (K-5): Students will receive live (synchronous) remote instruction in reading, mathematics, social studies, and science using Edmentum’s content and teachers. APS staff members serve as mentors to monitor student progress, meet with students to provide social-emotional or academic support, and work with the family to ensure success. Click here for more information.

Middle School (6-8): Students will be able to remain self-directed, but will have the option to connect into live (synchronous) remote courses offered using Edmentum's course content and teachers. APS staff members serve as mentors to monitor student progress, meet with students to provide social-emotional or academic support, and work with the family to ensure success. Students will be monitored carefully, in particular, in English and math. If students struggle in self-directed learning, they may be assigned to the live remote courses to help get them back on track. Click here for more information.

High School (9-12): Students will be able to remain self-directed, but will have the option to connect into live (synchronous) remote courses offered using Edmentum's course content and teachers. APS staff members serve as mentors to monitor student progress, meet with students to provide social-emotional or academic support, and work with the family to ensure success. Students will be carefully monitored to make sure they remain on track to earn credits and redirected to live courses as needed. Click here for more information.

How will APS Online be the same or different from the Remote Learning Program (RLP) last spring?
