Dance Requirements
Scheduling:
Audition appointments are available online by clicking on the tile on the information page titled schedule an audition. You can select an audition date and time from the list provided and submit your request. If you need assistance with scheduling please call Mrs. Duhon at 330.761.3270.
Submitted in Advance:
Required Documents: Forms and documents should be submitted electronically
resume of dance-related experience
Recommended: 1-2 support letters/forms from adults who know you and your talents
Audition Day:
You will be interviewed and given a movement task to complete. This audition will take approximately 10 minutes. Candidates must be dressed in appropriate dance attire such as leotard, tights, t-shirt, or jogging pants. During the audition you will present a 1:30 to 2:30 minute solo which you have prepared in advance. Please have your music on your phone ready to go.
Results:
Letters of confirmation of Open Enrollment and acceptance to Firestone will be sent from the office of Open Enrollment in early January. Any additional procedures to secure your seat will be included.
