Daily Schedules

Dear Parents,

We are excited to share the student daily schedules with you via our new Parent E-Learning Hub below. Please note that each schedule has a unique link.

As you peruse the schedules at the links above, please note the following highlights:

• Approximately 4.5 hours of instructional time for students in grades K-2 and approximately 5.5 hours of instructional time for students in grades 3-5;

• Morning meetings and time for daily announcements to begin each day.

• Afternoon meetings and office hours in order for students and parents to receive additional support or ask questions as needed.

• Dedicated time for each content area throughout the day that includes both whole group and small group instruction opportunities for students.

• Time both for both live (synchronous) instruction and for self-paced, independent (asynchronous) instruction; independent (asynchronous) learning activities will not always include a screen to provide additional breaks for students.

• Dedicated small group block for support or acceleration.

• Lessons to address Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

This standardized schedule creates a structured daily schedule for children and should help to keep everyone (in the home and at school) more organized and focused on the task of learning. However, as teachers will see students in both whole and small groups, there will be times throughout the day when students will not have to be on a screen, as well as breaks in addition to those built into schedules.

We miss seeing you all in person, but we will focus on making the best of our virtual learning experience. Thank you for partnering with your child’s teacher and the school as we all work together to support the academic and social emotional development of our superstars.
