About me 

I can hardly believe that this is the beginning of my 30th year as a public school teacher.  I am just as excited today as I was when this journey began.  Please know that I count it a privilege and honor be among the chosen faculty of David T. Howard Middle School. I am especially excited about collaborating with like minded educators to guide our future leaders in reaching their full potential. 

Just a little about me......

I am the mother of 3 fabulous biological children, and three bonus daughters.  I have 4 grandchildren as well. When I am not at Howard, I enjoy reading, walking, gardening, cooking and spending time with my family.  My very favorite thing to do is travel.

​Credentials

I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Middle Grades Education, an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I also have reading and gifted endorsements, and I am certified to teach high school science and special education.
