It is with great pleasure that we announce Jaceta Fevrier as our School Psychologist of the Year! 

Ms. Fevrier is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who has been a vital member of our team for the past 5 years. She currently provides psychological services at Bolton Academy and Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy. She has truly made a positive impact on the lives of students and families during her 12 years as a school psychologist.

Ms. Fevrier received her undergraduate degree in psychology from La Sierra University in Riverside, California, and went on to earn her master's degree and Specialist of Education degree in school psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Since beginning her career in education, Ms. Fevrier has worked with students of all ages in a variety of settings. She has a particular interest in working with children who are culturally and linguistically diverse. She has also received extensive training in evidence-based interventions for students with reading and attention differences.

Ms. Fevrier is known for her dedication and commitment to her work. She works closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the academic and emotional well-being of her students. She is known for her compassionate and collaborative approach to working with children and families.

In her current role as a Lead School Psychologist, Ms. Fevrier supervises and mentors other school psychologists. Ms. Fevrier is also a bilingual school psychologist, fluent in Spanish. This has been an invaluable asset, allowing her to better serve the needs of our diverse student population. Additionally, Ms. Fevrier worked with the IT Power Apps SharePoint Development Team as the project coordinator to help create and manage the psychological services referral app, which has helped to save time and streamline the evaluation process for the department.

In her free time, Ms. Fevrier enjoys dancing, learning languages, trying new restaurants, and practicing yoga. She is passionate about her work and is always looking for ways to make a positive impact on the lives of the children she serves.
