As an only child, I was born and raised in Rochester, New York
It has always been my passion to become a teacher, lawyer or counselor for teens and families a
So grateful to have been afforded the opportunities to attend Virginia State University, University of Georgia and the University of West Alabama to jump-start career in the areas of psychology and teaching .
During my tenure as an educator, I have served our teachers and students in many capacities: Literacy Coach, Teacher Leader, Special Education Department Chairperson, Teacher Mentor, and as a 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year recipient .
