Anyone volunteering in-person has to undergo a background clearance. For volunteer efforts that do not require direct student interaction (like shelving books, helping with library organization, working on library displays), you will simply scan your i.d. and get a temporary badge when you arrive. For volunteer efforts that require direct student interaction (like assisting at Geeks & Gamers or GSA or with library programming), it is best to get level 3 clearance, which provides you with a permanent badge like those worn by teachers. Information from APS is below. You will need to contact Ms. Siebie to schedule your fingerprinting appointment.
You can still support the library by purchasing needed books & supplies from our Amazon Wishlist!
