A Note from our Academy AP: Dr. Caldwell

Dear Seniors,

The finish line is in sight! This second semester is your last chance to make a lasting impression and solidify your post-high school plans. Let's make it count.

Finish Strong - Your Legacy Matters:

Your final grades are still important. Colleges will request final transcripts, and future employers may look at your overall academic and discipline record. Maintain your focus, stay committed to your studies, and finish strong! It is not too late to turn around. If you need to complete recovery courses on APEX, make sure you are working consistently to finish them before the deadline. For those participating in ACCA or Dual Enrollment Courses, ensure you are completing all required coursework to earn college credit and to meet high school graduation requirements. Don't forget to check the requirements for earning cords for your pathway completion. Completing these pathways will be recognized at graduation.

Decision Day & Beyond:

Get ready to celebrate your hard work and reveal your college choice on Decision Day! This is a moment to be proud of your accomplishments. After Decision Day, make sure you complete all necessary steps to finalize your enrollment or post-secondary plans.

Graduation Requirements - Don't Fall Behind:

Ensure you have met all graduation requirements. This includes completing all required coursework, passing necessary exams, and fulfilling any other school-specific requirements. If you still need to take the ACT or SAT to meet graduation requirements, sign up immediately. Do not delay. Complete your 75 required community service hours. This is a vital part of your graduation requirements.

E3 - Your Post-Secondary Plans:

Remember the E3 initiative: Enrolled, Enlisted, or Employed. By graduation, you must have a solid plan for your future. If you're attending college, finalize your enrollment and financial aid. If you're enlisting in the military, complete all necessary paperwork and physicals. If you're entering the workforce, secure a job offer and prepare for your new role.

This is a time of excitement and transition. Stay focused, stay organized, and don't hesitate to reach out to your counselors, teachers, and parents for support. We are here to help you achieve your goals. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We are incredibly proud of all that you have accomplished.

Sincerely,

~DOC
