Welcome to AP World History at North Atlanta High School. I'm looking forward to an exciting year together!

I hope that you have already completed your summer assignment! Also, please ensure that you have a 1.5 or 2 inch three-ring binder for this course. It will be necessary for organizing your readings, notes, assignments, and tests.

Course Information

The course consists of five units. The units follow the AP World standard periodization of Periods 1-4, with one additional introductory unit looking at our Foundations.

There are a number of themes that students will understand and historical thinking skills students will be able to demonstrate as a result of this course.
