The submission window is February 2 – April 17, 2026
Video projects can be submitted by an individual or a a team of two or more students.
be sure to include all students' names on the entry form.
Films/Videos can be 1-15 minutes in length.
There is a maximum of three entries per teacher or sponsor (adult submitting for student).
A teacher or sponsor must submit the project on behalf of the student.
𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (real-time photography to capture physical actors, props, sets, and locations)
𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (visual/motion design and computer-aided creation)
𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩-𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (physical, real-world objects photographed frame-by-frame to create the illusion of movement)
𝐌𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚: Has elements of two or more techniques (Live Action, Digital Animation, or Stop Motion)
Academic: Addresses a curriculum objective.
Examples: PSA, Student News, Documentary of a famous person or event, or Book trailer.
Aesthetic: Made as an artistic expression.
Examples: Explores the impact of camera angles, music videos, or storytelling
Fiction examples: Fairy tales, supernatural, the future, or imaginary animals
Non-Fiction examples: science, environment, biographies, or book reviews
