CLASS OVERVIEW:
About me
I was born and raised in Kansas City.
I attended Wyandotte High School where, as will many of you, I began to understand the ways in which education can change reality.
After earning the Bill and Melinda Gates Millennium Scholarship, I was afforded the opportunity to leave home and attend the college of my dreams at no cost to me!
In 2016, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Morehouse College. Following graduation, I spent one year serving as an AmeriCorps “WingsLeader” social and emotional learning teacher within the Fulton County School District.
In 2018, I began serving high school students as a College Advisor on behalf Georgia State University within Atlanta Public Schools.
While in graduate school I began student teaching within Atlanta Public School system and I am now honored to be a full-time teacher! I have recently earned my Master of Arts in Teaching certificate from Mercer University, Tift College of Education.
