Alan Mathison Turing is known as the Father of All Modern Computer as he was responsible for creating the first ever computer which was used by Britain to break the German encrypted machine known as Enigma which was thought to be unbreakable before Turing came along and proved them wrong, in World War 2.
Alan Turing was born on 23 July 1912, Maida Vave, London England. He died on 7 June 1954 in Wilmslow, Cheshire, England. His death was a suicide.
Was appointed as Officer of the Order Of The British Empire in the year 1946.
Was elected as Fellow of The Royal Society in 1951.
