Education with Purpose - Careers with Impact

Welcome

Allen Parish Career and Technical Education (CTE) prepares students for college and career readiness by providing core academic skills, employability skills, and technical/job-specific skills. Partnerships between the school system and post-secondary institutions provide opportunities to earn credit towards a program of study. Industry Based credentialing is a driving force in CTE where students have an opportunity to earn certifications recognized by industry. Internship opportunities provide students with work experiences needed for transitioning beyond high school. Career and Technical Education programs respond to regional workforce data by offering courses which align to workforce demands.
