If the student's Chromebook and another device from home are not able to connect to the wifi, please restart your router.
If just the student's Chromebook is having issues connecting to Wifi, please have them remove the wireless network and then add it back.
Chromebook Issues - slow or lagging
If Chromebook is slow, please remove extensions (games, screensavers, anything that was added by the student), then restart the computer. Removing Extensions
*STUDENTS SHOULD NOT UPLOAD GAMES, EXTENSIONS, ETC. WITHOUT PERMISSION.
*IF GAMES, EXTENSIONS,ETC. ARE ON YOUR DEVICE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT, PLEASE VISIT THE LIBRARY STAFF.
When issues are occurring during virtual class. It could be that too many tabs are opened. While still on the class call, turn off your camera, open up your program and then turn your camera on.
Check for updates;
Update Chrome OS:
Click 3 dots on top right corner,
Click Settings,
Click About Chrome,
Check for updates, click to update (should be at least version 84), this can take up to 5 minutes.
Once the update is complete, a Restart button option will appear, click restart computer.
