Hawkettes is the premier ensemble at Volcano Vista and is considered an advanced semi-acapella treble choir. Hawkettes is a high-level performance and competitive group with many performance and rehearsal commitments throughout the year, including four evening concerts at VVHS.

The ensemble rehearses and performs a variety of music, a cappella and accompanied, and studies intermediate to advanced Music Theory concepts and sight-reading techniques.

Students are encouraged to participate in additional Choir and vocal events such as Solo & Ensemble, All-State, Honor Choir, and the VVHS musical. Participation in these events will earn students points towards lettering in Concert Choir.
