My name is April Castillo, and this is my eighth year teaching for APS. I taught the first grade for my first four years, and have taught the fourth grade ever since. I attended Albuquerque Academy before enrolling at The University of New Mexico where I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish. In 2019, I obtained my master’s degree in Elementary Education. I live with my husband of ten years, and our two sons, Logan (9) and Wyatt (4). We also have our sweet German shepherd, Kali.
