The Tierra Antigua Elementary School Counseling Program envisions a school community where every student feels safe, valued, and supported, and has equitable opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. All students develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships, empowering them to become responsible learners, effective problem-solvers, and compassionate citizens who are prepared to pursue their goals and thrive in school and life.
The mission of the Tierra Antigua Elementary School Counseling Program is to ensure every student has equitable access to the support, advocacy, and encouragement needed to succeed. Guided by the American School Counselor Association’s comprehensive, data-driven model, the program promotes academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and career awareness by helping students develop the skills, habits, and mindsets necessary for lifelong learning and success. Through caring relationships and inclusive, collaborative partnerships with families and school staff, the program empowers all students to become confident, responsible learners prepared to pursue their goals and thrive within their school community and beyond.
