Digital Portfolios

Elementary School Template

The Elementary School Template is designed for younger students. There is a separate page for each grade level. The intent is for a student to work on the grade level page throughout the year with teacher assistance. At the end of elementary school students will have an accumulation of student work.

Middle School Template

The Middle School Template is designed for students to start building their portfolio sites more independently, with guided teacher help. There is a separate page for each subject area. Students add content to each subject area page throughout the year, creating a cumulative record of the year's progress. At the end of middle school students will have an accumulation of all the work across subject content areas.

High School Template

The High School Template is designed for students to independently build their portfolio sites with the intent of being college or career ready. Creating a digital portfolio in high school can help students identify skills and interest that help them determine future goals and paths. The pages are set up not only for students to select materials over time, but to also create assets that can be used for college admissions and interviews.

Digital Showcase Portfolio Examples

The previous portfolios are examples that show work over time. Students can also create digital portfolios that showcase a higher level of achievement in a specific area for a specific purpose. Here are some links to some showcase portfolios.

Bilingual Seal Portfolios

In New Mexico, students have the opportunity to acquire a district and State of NM Bilingualism and Biliteracy Seal in Spanish, Native American languages and Foreign languages.
