Kindergarten Observation Tool (KOT)
All visualizations can be downloaded as an image, Excel crosstab, or PDF via the download button at the bottom of each visualization. To download the Excel Crosstab of a table, click on the table you want to download, then click on the download icon on the bottom of the visualization and select the crosstab option on the pop-up window. Beginning-of-Year (BOY) Results
The below visualization shows results of the Kindergarten Observation Tool (KOT) from the beginning-of-year (BOY). Results can be shown for the district overall, by learning zone and individual school by changing the filters. The Results by Student Group tab shows results by indicator. To change these tables, use the domain and indicator filters.
Guiding Questions for a Data Discussion
In what areas were students most ready for Kindergarten? In what areas were students the least ready? Did students perform the same across student groups (e.g., female students compared to their male peers)? How do the results for your school compare to the schools in your Statistical Peer Group?
