About Me

I have been teaching in the k-8 classroom for 7 years.  I teach Gifted ELA and Consumer Sciences (FACS).   I started my teaching journey by helping integrate technology into schools.  After co-teaching and helping support teachers with the  google suite in their classrooms.  I decided to officially get my license to teach in New Mexico.  I have a BS in applied sciences from University of South Carolina and am endorsed in language arts, gifted/enrichment, Family and Consumer Sciences, and library media sciences.  I have a middle schooler and high schooler of my own as well as 2 dogs, 3 cats, and lots of chickens.   I am looking forward to getting to know all of my students and helping prepare them for high school and beyond.
