Lifetime Sports, Yoga/Aerobics, and Physical Education

A little bit about me...

I'm a graduate of Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!) with a degree in Kinesiology, and I am currently working on another masters degree in Athletic Administration. I love working out, and there are so many ways to stay fit in this day and time, that I want students to be exposed to those opportunities in addition to the traditional organized sports route.

I'm an adventure junkie to the core; my family and I hike a 14er every summer, and I live for challenging outdoor activities--everything from snow skiing to kayaking, orienteering to geocaching, rock climbing and rapelling, adventure racing and obstacle racing, cycling, triathlons, and YES, I have bungee jumped and been dipped in the water! I am very passionate about LIVING this thing we call life, and love to pass on that passion to my students.

There is an anonymous quote that is my mantra: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away." If we all lived each day to the fullest; I truly believe that even when the "curve balls" come our way, we would all be much stronger and happier with our lives!
