About me: My Name is Nathan Neidigk and I was born in Ulysses, Kansas.  I moved to Rio Rancho, New Mexico when I was 3 years old.  I've lived in the Albuquerque area ever since.  I've been a high school math teacher for 16 years, but I have 20 years experience teaching in the classroom. In December of 2022, I passed my National Boards and became an Adolescent and Young Adult National Board Certified Teacher in  Mathematics (AYA MATH NBCT).

I went to Rio Rancho High School and graduated in 2003.  After high school, I went to The University of New Mexico and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2008.  After several years, I earned a Masters of Science for Teachers degree from New Mexico Tech in 2013.  I'm married to my beautiful bride Cameron.  We have two children.  Elly is 10  and is in 5th grade.  Our son Mikey passed away three years ago from cancer.  He would be 8.  Our family also has a very special Golden-Doodle named Archie.  He was Mikey's Make-A-Wish dog and is in training to become a therapy dog to help kids in hospitals.

My first official teaching job job was at the Youth Diagnostic and Development Center where I taught  math to incarcerated high schoolers.  After teaching at the jail, I taught at an Albuquerque west side charter school and then taught math at Volcano Vista High School for 12 years.  The 2023-2024 school year is my second year teaching at eCADEMY High School. I'm thrilled to be here, and am looking forward to another great year of learning.
