Our library at Ventana Ranch is a fun, wonderful place where students, staff, and parents can find entertaining and educational books and resources. 

Here are a few things that we learn in our school library classes:

• how the library is organized and how to find books

• learning about types or genres of literature- folk and fairytales, tall tales, fables, plays and poetry

• how to find different kinds of informational (Non-fiction) books - such as animals, planets, or sports

• learning about our nation's history and the people that live here

• learning about other cultures and countries of the world

• how to use books and on-line data bases to research an informational topic

• how to be safe on the internet

*The most important part of library is to search and find something you love TO READ!!*
