Welcome!

Hello! My name is Ms. Maranda Willingham. I cannot wait to be your second grade teacher!  This is my seventh year teaching, and I am excited to learn with you and about you. I am looking forward to a fun and educational school year, and to take on new challenges together.

My Background:

I'm 28 years old, and I was born and raised here in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  I graduated from La Cueva High School.  I love spending time with my friends, family, and two cats--Bear and Johnny Cash.  I have extensive background experience working with children of all ages in all kids of settings.

My Education:

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Soon, I hope to earn a Masters degree, as well.  I am very passionate about helping students of all abilities, backgrounds, and grade levels learn to the best of their ability.

Color- Pink, grey, black, and white

Drink- Unsweetened green tea, Dr. Pepper, Olipop

Food- Sushi, Dions

Subject- English/Language arts

Sports- Swimming and football (Dallas Cowboys and Alabama Crimson Tide)

Season- Summer

Hobbies- Golf, shopping, spending time with the people I love, exercising, watching tv and movies, reading
