Course Description

Spanish 2 builds upon knowledge gained in Spanish 1. This course will also reinforce the skills learned in Spanish 1: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Emphasis is on perfecting pronunciation, mastery of the basic grammatical structures, and increased communicative proficiency.This course is also designed to provide students with the structure and discipline they will need to succeed in school, the workplace and in the global society in which we live. To meet this requirement this high school course is structured consistent with the Standards for World Language Learning in the 21st Century: Communication, Communities, Comparisons, Connections, & Cultures.
