Students will have an annual review IEP meeting every year. An IEP meeting may be held earlier than a year if needed. One or both parents, the general education teacher, an IEP Specialist, and I will be the IEP team. Starting in 5th grade, students are asked to be a part of the IEP meeting, however if you or they would like to come to the meeting at an earlier age, that is fine. (Typically a middle school representative will also join 5th grade meetings as they are considered Transition meetings well.) Meetings will be held online via a Google Meet. If you prefer an in person meeting, please let me know and we will hold the meeting in one of our school conference rooms. Please check in at the office prior to the meeting and they will direct you to the conference room. Before the meeting, you will receive an email with meeting date and time as well as a parent questionnaire. Your input helps us develop a plan to best meet your child's needs. Please return the questionnaire to me prior to the meeting--at least one day before is preferable. Please let me know if you need hard copies of any forms.
