Los estudiantes han estado trabajando duro y haciendo un trabajo increíble con el aprendizaje. Este mes seguimos concentrándonos en la ciencia de la tierra con temas que incluyen el clima y los recursos naturales. En matemáticas, vamos a comenzar practicando conceptos de las fracciones. 

Estoy muy orgullosa de esta clase de estudiantes y agradezco todo el apoyo familiar que han mostrado este año. Por favor, continúe con las comprobaciones de la Class Dojo regularmente, ya que aquí es donde envío información importante sobre la clase y de APS.

Can you believe we only have about four months left of this school year? It has certainly been a year we will always remember. Students have been working hard and doing an amazing job with learning. This month we are continuing to focus on Earth science with topics including weather and natural resources. In math, we will begin practicing concepts of fractions. 

I am so proud of this class and appreciate all the family support you all have shown this year. Please continue to check Class Dojo regularly, as this is where I send important information about the class and from APS.

I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break! Our science unit this month is all about water! We will be having some special visitors from the Albuquerque Water Authority and from ¡Explora! to lead us through some fun water projects! In math, we will continue practicing concepts related to addition, subtraction, and multiplication (3rd grade).

Please continue to check Class Dojo regularly, as this is where I send important information about the class and from APS.

• January 7, 2025: students return to class 

• January 16, 2025: Field Trip to Natural History and Science Museum

• January 20, 2025: schools closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

First I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for all your support this year. I am so grateful for your kindness, patience, and help with everything this year. 

December is already here and we are wrapping up 2023! The students will do a community service project this month. All the students are trying their best each and every day and I could not ask for more. Let's finish 2023 strong! 

Here are some important dates: 

• December 12: field trip to the museum of anthropology

• December 20: Pajama Day

• December 23-January 6: no school- winter break

• January 7, 2025: students return to class

Estoy realmente impresionada con esta clase de segundo y cuarto grado. Me han mostrado todos los días sus habilidades de responsabilidad y deseo de aprender. Estoy muy orgullosa de esta clase.

I am truly impressed with this class of second and third graders. They have shown me everyday their skills of responsibility, accountability, and a desire to learn. I am very proud of this class.

I have been telling everyone that we have the best class in the whole world this year. I am not joking, the students are doing a fantastic job! This year is challenging, but they have been doing the best they can with everything we do!
