Hi everyone!
I am Ms. LaFleur Sainte Marie. I will be your 4th grade teacher and I am very excited to be working with you this year for 2021-2022 school year! I have been teaching for almost 19 years and still love teaching. I also love to challenge myself and have high expectations as a result, so I finished my Administration License in order to continue to learn about education and best practices so that I can help children receive equitable education in the best way possible.
I am always available to help my students and parents with whatever they may need, and strive to be quick in replying to emails, texts, and phone messages!
Lastly, I love learning! I am studying French, Italian and Chinese, and I am also a Tournament Chess player! Let's have fun and enjoy the learning process together!

Hello Dragon Families,
eCADEMY K8's next Family Engagement Night will be Tuesday, March 8 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Join us at Explora for an amazing science night! Bring the entire family to Explora and enjoy the museum for the
night.
Dinner will be provided!
Mr. Gutierrez will be there to supervise the event. We will have a variety of teachers on hand to help organize activities. It's going to be a super fun night and we hope to see you there.

Family Literacy Academy
The Public Education Department requests your help notifying families and caregivers of the upcoming Family Literacy Academy. The academy is a series of three virtual workshops to help families and caregivers learn strategies to help young readers improve their literacy skills at home. The Family Literacy Academy will be presented in Spanish and English with sessions in February, March and April. The first workshop is at 5 p.m. on Feb. 15. Read the complete news release here.

Reports Cards are coming! Please make sure your student has been working hard to complete their assignments :)

Please check your child's Edgenuity coursework. Checking Edgenuity regularly helps your child stay on track in the modules. You can also add yourself as guardian as well. Also, please check ParentVue for an email that was sent out regarding the progress of your child so far this year. The First quarter ends on October 15.
Hello Families of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students.
We will be distributing Edgenuity and Fundations workbooks at our 5300 Cutler location from 8AM to 6PM on Wednesday the 15th. You will have to come into the building to pick them up and will be required to wear a mask when you enter. We have allowed this large block of time to give families the opportunity to come during off peak hours. Space is provided for social distancing and hand sanitizer will be abundantly available.

During the Meet the Teacher session parents can ask for clarifications, support with signing on and other information, but please leave the Morning Meeting time and morning sessions to allow me to work with my students to help with signing in, discuss expectations with them and online go over classroom, online routines.
