What supports are in the materials to help my student succeed?

At eCademy, students use the Edgenuity platform, which provides a variety of built-in supports to promote student success.

Each lesson includes guided instruction with video explanations, examples, and step-by-step modeling of key concepts. Students can pause, rewind, and rewatch lessons at any time, making it easier to review material or get extra help when needed.

After each lesson, students complete practice activities and assignments designed to reinforce learning and build skills. These activities often provide immediate feedback, helping students learn from mistakes and improve their understanding. Ongoing, cumulative practice is also included to strengthen retention of previously learned concepts.

Lessons include clear objectives so students understand what they are expected to learn. The platform also offers progress monitoring tools that allow students, teachers, and families to track performance and identify areas where additional support may be needed.

Additional supports such as guided notes, vocabulary tools, and help resources are available to meet a variety of learning needs. eCademy teachers are also available to provide instruction, answer questions, and offer one-on-one support.

Families play an important role by monitoring student progress and encouraging consistent engagement with coursework.
