This is my formal class website, which we will generally call the "Main Site". This site is the best starting point to learn about my class and how we will address distanced learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. I'm glad you're here and excited to get started with this truly unique school year!
There are six other pages on my Main Site. You can find a brief description of each below, as well as a link to those pages. Please take some time to look at the different parts of the site (especially Myriad).
The best way to contact me is by email at benjamin.steiner@aps.edu.
Myriad is the game-based story that serves as the framework for our class this year. It is a story of many universes that our class will explore as the year goes on. We will learn a lot more about all of the details of Myriad as the school year gets started.
There is a special schedule for the first week of August 17. Starting Monday, August 24, we will move to our consistent schedule for the duration of distanced learning. Both can be found on this page. Students will have to sign into several different Google Meet video chats throughout the day, so please start learning our schedule.
This page is where I will post updates and announcements about events and activities in our class and school. I will share important dates and reminders, so please check in from time to time.
Here you can find quick links to many of the websites that I use in class. Students can use these links to access the sites from home, and parents can learn more about some of the ways we integrate our diverse content.
This page contains more information about me and my background. I also included details about my philosophy of education and how it influences my classroom practices.
Like I said before, it's very important to me that I'm on the same page as students and their families. This is where you can find the best ways to get in touch.
