I am a structured and strict teacher. I communicate to parents by newsletters, emails, phone or talk with parents before or after school.
Students will have homework packets that will be given out on Mondays and they have to be returned by Fridays. Homework is very important and required. Homework is a review of the week’s lessons and will help your student through the school year. I also require nightly reading logs. It is important that you read with your student every night for 20 min. If homework is not turned in on Friday then they will miss free time on Fridays. Please help your student remember to turn it in.
Birthdays: We do not celebrate birthdays individually in the classroom. We will have a party at the end of the year to celebrate all birthdays including the summer birthdays. Please respect this rule and if food is brought, it will be sent home.
