Greetings 4th grade students and families!

My name is Brittny Meis! I am thrilled that I get to be one of your teacher's for the 2020-2021 school year. This will be my first year teaching Special Education at Osuna. I have been a part of the Osuna community for the past five years: first as a parent, then as a volunteer, next as a substitute, and now as a teacher!

I spent seven years teaching Information Technology at Madison Middle School, and I had the opportunity to work with a number of wonderful students with different abilities and learning styles.

I have spent the past four years at home as a full-time stay-at-home mom raising my young family, and I am glad to get the opportunity to be back in the classroom. My husband Brandon and I have four amazing children: Reese (10), Zander (7), Tatum (4), and Hattie (1). My two oldest children will be 5th and 2nd grade students at Osuna this year. Some of my favorite things to do include spending time with my family, playing with my kids, running, gardening, and learning new things.

Even though this year may look and feel very different than previous years, I still have high expectations for myself and my students. I am so excited that we will get to experience it together. It is going to be a great year!

Love,

Mrs. Meis
