About me

Hi! My name is  Mrs. Jana Ostrye and I am going to be your teacher for Functional Literacy, Math Strats, Functional Academics, Life Skills, Vocational Skills, and Advisory.

You can call me Mrs. Jana. This will be my 25th year teaching and my first year teaching at Cibola High School.

I have a Master’s degree in Special Education and am licensed in teaching Special Education grades preK-12 as a level III teacher.

I grew up in Northwest Montana and moved to Albuquerque in 1999. I have a husband and three children.

Here are some things that I enjoy: teaching, camping, boating, cooking, hiking, biking, crocheting, Passion Tea from Starbucks, tennis, and watching tv.

I am so excited to see you all, get to know you and your families and work with you this year!
