About Me

I am 41 years old. I grew up in a small New Mexican town named Santa Rosa. (Below you will see where I grew up!) I worked in my dad's restaurant growing up and learned a lot about hard work and responsibility. I am the last of five siblings in my family. Sadly, one of my sisters passed away four years ago. I still have one sister and two brothers who all live in New Mexico. My older brother works in a hospital lab. My other brother is a high school football coach as well as a high school principal. My sister is a high school teacher in a technology charter school. Teaching runs in my family!

I attended New Mexico Highlands University for my freshman year of college. For the remainder of my undergrad studies I attended the University of New Mexico. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Later in my career I went back to school to get my master's degree from Grand Canyon University in teaching English as a second language.

I am married with five kids, three grandchildren, and two dogs. My first three children are my step-kids. They are 25, 23, and 22 years old. My younger two children are 7 and eight years old. My family and I like to watch movies, play board games, and go camping together! In my own spare time I spend time with my family, read books, or binge watch TV shows!

To the left you will see me, my husband, my daughter, and my son on vacation in California.
