From the East Coast of Canada, to New York City, Santa Fe, Florida and now Albuquerque comes a teacher raised by educators to be a lifelong learner. From the stage to the page, Mrs. Hazen wants to inspire you to explore and grow as a student and a lifelong learner as well! She is thrilled and honored to serve as a language arts and drama teacher with Tres Volcanes! Mrs. Hazen includes in her list of accomplishments: many leading roles in school plays, college productions, performing at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. graduation from college with honors, studying acting full time in NYC with famous master teacher/directors including Mike Nichols, appearing on PBS American Masters: Willa Cather, writing and acting her own original play produced and mentored by Theatre Grottesco, and finally: becoming a teacher and a mother. Mrs. Hazen is devoted to helping students find their authentic voice as writers and their confidence as performers. Together we will have fun and learn from one another in a collaborative and disciplined community!
