You might also consider purchasing a shallow 24" X 15" basket ($1 at the Dollar Tree) to hold learning plans, school supplies, copied papers, completed work, iPads, iPad chargers in one place at home. It will be essential for your first grader to keep track of their own school belongings, just like they will in our classroom.
