WAR (greater than/ less than, what makes 10)

Materials: 1 deck of playing cards

Overall rules:

Spit deck of cards in half.

Keep cards face down.

Count 1, 2, 3, FLIP! You both flip the first card on in your half of the deck.

Compare numbers depending on the game you are playing.

If you are playing GREATER card wins, then the person with the larger number gets both cards.

If you are playing LESS wins, the person with the smaller number gets both cards.

If you are playing WHAT MAKES 10, the first person to figure out how many more are needed (or how many need to be taken away to make 10) gets both cards!

What if we get the SAME CARD? Then it is time for WAR! Each of you must lay out 3 more cards, face down. Then on the 4th card, you flip again to see who wins the war! Winner of the war gets all the cards that were played down on that turn.
