Mr. Saxon

Hello! My name is Trey Saxon and I teach Weight Training and Physical Education as well as serving as the assistant wrestling coach for the high school. I went to high school in Santa Fe and graduated in 2006. I received an athletic scholarship for wrestling to New Mexico Highlands University where I competed for 4 years and was an assistant coach for the team for an additional 2 years. 

I have 2 beautiful daughters and a fiance that I love spending all my time outside of work with. We love to cook new meals, take adventures in the wilderness, and if we are watching a movie it is most definitely going to be The Nightmare Before Christmas or Moana. 

I have been a high school teacher for 11 years now and I'm proud to be on my 9th year teaching at La Cueva High School. Go Bears! My favorite novels are The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway and The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I enjoy hiking, fishing, and watching my two daughters grow up.
