Students, parents, guardians, and the larger West Mesa High School community,

It is with great pleasure that I serve as an educator within APS at West Mesa High School. 2025 marks my 21st year as an English Language Arts instructor at West Mesa High School. It was my first choice when I went looking for a teaching position upon graduation from UNM, and it will hopefully be my only stop over the course of my entire teaching tenure.

I love my career and I want nothing but the very best for each and every one of our students! As a former student of both John Adams Middle School and West Mesa High School, I try to approach each new school year with the passion one might expect from a former graduate. I have been honored to teach so many wonderful students over the years, and if the past is any indicator, I confidently say that I look forward to the awesome experiences that I will undoubtedly encounter going forward with students this school year, too.

I want my students, their parents, and guardians to know that I am always on their side. I have always tried to be the best that I can be, every single day of every single school year. I built this website to be a place where students and their families can access information and resources that will help them be as successful as they possibly can. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I promise you, I will do all that I can to help.
