Daniel Stein

My name is Mr. Dan Stein and your son or daughter is enrolled in my English class this semester. I am looking forward to an exciting second semester. It is my goal to provide all students with an educationally challenging and supportive experience in my classroom.

I am a graduate of Cal State University Channel Islands. I gained my special education license through a joint CNM/APS/ATF SETT (special education teacher training) program. Through the State of New Mexico I am “highly qualified” to teach English language arts, social studies, geography, civics, and economics.

Technology in the classroom will be a little fluid this semester. We may have some assignments in Google Classroom and some readings online or through “Bookshare.” With that said, your student’s comfort is my first priority. If they want to type an assignment and turn in through Google that is great. If they prefer pen/pencil and paper that is also awesome! I can also make readings available online through “Bookshare” and Google Drive. I want your son or daughter to feel comfortable in whichever method they choose and they can alternate at any time.
