My name is Karl Schaller, and I teach Algebra I and Algebra II. My objective for the class is to build upon and extend your child’s mathematical foundation. Computational abilities are important, and the course will emphasize developing problem-solving skills and applying math to everyday life.

Parents are the most important people in a child’s life, and I look forward to working together with you, for the benefit of your child.  A child’s education is a reciprocal process between parents, teachers, and students. What your child needs to be successful in this course is for you to support the academic, homework, and disciplinary efforts I present to your children at school.  In return, I will keep you informed about your child’s performance and successes at school. With your help, I hope to guide your child toward becoming a better thinker, doer, and communicator. I am available to answer any question by e-mail (schaller@aps.edu) or via our Synergy/Parent Vue website.  I’m looking forward to a rewarding year.
