3.  The chill out chair:  

FIrst time:   you will sit out of the next two activities.

   Second time:  you will sit out for the remainder ot music class.

    Third time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class.

     Fourth time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will lose one recess and you will be disinfecting instruments in the music classroom instead of going to the playground.

Fifth time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will lose two recesses and you will be writing an apology to your class instead of going out to the playground.

Sixth time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will miss two recesses and you will be writing an apology to your clan instead of going out to the playground.

Seventh time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will be invited to participate in a restorative circle with your classmates.  Refusal to participate in the circle will lead you to lose 2 days of recesses and you will be disinfecting instruments and surfaces in the music classroom instead of going out to the playground.

Eighth time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will be invited to participate in a restorative circle with your clanmates.  Refusal to participate in the circle will lead you to  lose 3 days of recesses and you will be disinfecting instruments and surfaces in the music classroom instead of going out to the playground.

Ninth time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will be invited to participate in a restorative circle with your teachers.  Refusal to participate in the circle will lead you to lose 4 days of recesses and you will be disinfecting instruments and surfaces in the music classroom instead of going out to the playground.

Tenth time:  you will be given a chill out form to complete and have signed by your parents before the next music class, and you will invited to participate in a restorative circle with your teachers, parents and administration.  Refusal to participate in the circle will lead you to lose 5 days of recesses and you will be  disinfecting instruments and surfaces in the music classroom instead of going out to the playground.

4.  The chill out form - this must be signed by your parent, and returned in order for you to be able to play instruments and games during the next music class.

5.  The ejection:  You will be removed from the classroom to meet with the behavior redirector,  and you will complete the consequences for the third trip to chill out.  Each subsequent ejection will result in the next chill out level consequence.
