Distance Learning

Hello students and families,

I miss you seeing you all! I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy!

I have created a google class for each one of my class periods through Google Classroom. This is where I plan to conduct my core distance learning plan, but I will also post assignments to my website if you find Google Classroom just isn't working for you.

The bulk of Google Classroom will be a place for students to communicate with me and their peers about math and general discussions about themselves. I am still available through email, as well.

I plan to continue the use of Khan Academy and I-Ready, students are familiar with these programs as we have used them in the classroom throughout the school year. I will assign Lessons to be completed on Khan Academy and time recommendations spent on I-Ready. DO NOT STRESS if you are unable to complete everything each week.

ALL STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE I-READY AND KHAN ACADEMY, unlike our Fridays during the school year.

• Student's need to be signed into their APS google accounts to use Google Classroom and Khan Academy.

  • Password: @JMMS490fl (f=first initial l=last initial)
  • If their password is not working send me an email and I can reset it.

• I-Ready- i-ready.com
  • Username: FL-studentID# (EX. SW-9800274746)
  • Password: student
  • If their username and password are not working send me an email.

• Parents can sign up as guardians on google classroom
  • Most parents that have their emails attached to their students APS account have been invited, but if you have not or would like to join under a different email, email me and let me know the email you would like the invite to.
