FIELD TRIPS
Fifth grade will be attending field trips this year, if you would like to chaperone you will need to get in touch with the office. Please do this as soon as possible.
Dear Parents,
I am very excited to be teaching 5th grade again this year. I have been teaching for 20 years, and have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I really enjoy teaching this age group. This year we will be preparing for middle school. I am so excited to meet you and work together this year.
Your child has a very important job in 5th grade. The most important is to be RESPONSIBLE for their learning. We will have an agenda this year. All upcoming dates and assignments will be written in the agenda. We will also be using classtag and email for ways of communication. My email address is leavengood@aps.edu.
My website will be up and running this week. Our schedule and school wide information will be posted there. I am looking forward to a great school year with your child.
Students are expected to read a minimum of 30 minutes at night. They will sometimes have a writing response to follow. This will also be written in the agenda.
