The goal of the VVHS Science Department is to prepare students to be active thinkers in the way they observe the dynamic world around them. As a team of teachers, we work to make science engaging and relevant to our students. Students are consistently asked to problem-solve, as well as demonstrate the skills of identification, observation, reasoning, engineering, and experimental design.
The AFJROTC teachers are impressed with the positive attitude, patience, and willingness of the 9th grade class to adapt to changes. We all are having to deal with new challenges that sometimes seem to pop up every day. By continuing to work as a team and support one another, we all will succeed.
