Classroom Expectations

CLASS EXPECTATIONS:

GOOGLE CLASSROOM CHECK IN: Students are expected to check google classroom every Monday for the Week at a Glance and to follow those directions for the week.

CLASS MEETS: Advocacy meets are every morning. ELA Class and Seminar meets are Mondays and Thursdays. Gifted Writers/Readers Workshop is Wednesdays. Students are expected to attend all class meets, on time, for the length of the meet until being dismissed, with camera and sound available for use as teacher directed. If your Internet is down or you are not going to be able to attend a meet, students are expected to email the teacher ASAP and is responsible for all work from the meet.

ASYNCHRONOUS DAYS: Tuesdays and Fridays are designated for asynchronous work on Edgenuity and Google classroom and office hours/individual help and meets with teachers. If possible, we will be having in person optional meets on Wednesdays and/or Fridays as well.

EDGENUITY: Students are responsible for staying on track on ELA Edgenuity assignments as designated in Week at A Glance.

GOOGLE CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS: Students are responsible for all assignments on posted google classroom in addition to Edgenuity.

GRADES: Students and learning coaches are expected to check grades in Student/Parent Vue on Mondays and report to the teacher any concerns or questions about grades ASAP.
