About Me

Hello! My name is Ms. Garay and I am so happy that you are here. This is my 26th year teaching and my 24th year at Hoover Middle School! I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and have lived in San Diego and Albuquerque. I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from UNM in 1998 and my Masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2009. 

I am the proud mother of a daughter, Riley,  who is currently attending UNM. When I am not at school I enjoy movies, shopping, snowboarding, traveling and  going to United soccer games. Somos Unidos!
