PRACTICE INFORMATION

All practices will be at Los Altos Golf Course. Students must provide own transportation. Student must have current physicals and all course related forms (concession video and submit certificate in DragonFly) Students who do not complete these actions will not be allowed to participate.

Tryouts will be in the fall (August/September)

Practice
Varsity and JV: Monday thru Thursday starting at 4:00 pm to 6:15 pm for Varsity and JV players.

*Varsity practice in the Spring may be played at other courses depending on course condition.

C-Team: Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

To achieve Varsity, players need to go through a series of "tests". 
Tests includes:

• Putting

• Chipping 

• Hitting balls on the range to a 100 yard target. 

Students typically try out in August; however, students can request to be tested any time through the season.    

Practice times are staggered in start times and days to allow the coach to be able to meet the students. Typically, the coach will get the Varsity playing on the front 9, the Exec, or doing drills.  JV come at 4 PM.  Typically, we meet on the range and hit balls for approximately 30 minutes.  Then we transition to putting and chipping from 5 - 5:30 PM.  Once JV is done, the coach will follow up and check on Varsity to see what their needs are.
